Coakley Realty Announces New Hire for Commercial Real Estate Specialist Position, Furthers Continued Growth Strategy
Commercial real estate appraiser and financial expert, Scott Cole, hired as Coakley Realty’s commercial real estate specialist
ROCKVILLE, MD —July 30, 2015 – Rory S. Coakley Realty, Inc. (Coakley Realty) is proud to introduce Scott Cole as its new Commercial Real Estate Specialist. Cole brings over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry as a commercial real estate appraiser. He is now bringing his knowledge to the brokerage side of the business with Coakley Realty.
Being self-employed, Cole has provided appraisal services for financing transactions, bankruptcies, divorce settlements and tax appeals. He has provided services for a variety of property types including offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail centers and golf courses. He has experience with small owner user establishments along with complex multi-use properties with valuations of $10 million or more. Coles’s clients have included the U.S. General Services Administration, PNC Bank, M&T Bank, Susquehanna Bank, McNees, Wallace & Nurick, Caldwell Development, KIMCO Realty, and many others.
Cole’s experience in alternative investments provides him with a unique perspective in the real estate world. He pays very close attention to financial markets and economic indicators, and this allows him to provide valuable insight into the future impact these markets and indicators may have on commercial real estate.
In his new position as Commercial Real Estate Specialist at Coakley Realty, Cole will focus on commercial sales and leasing with an emphasis on Montgomery County properties. He will also provide appraisals, appeals, litigation support and investment management for commercial real estate properties in the area.

Cole graduated from The College of William and Mary in 1988 with a BA in Economics. He recently moved to North Bethesda with his wife Robin and now focuses his attention on his commercial real estate brokerage business in Montgomery County.
